Elise Brewster at Brewster Design Arts is the only person to complete a dual masters degree in Landscape Architecture and Fine Arts from the University of California, Berkeley. As a sculptor, Brewster has built and exhibited numerous environmental and public art installations in America and Rome, Italy. Her drawings have been published in books, and numerous journals. As an associate with the San Francisco Estuary Institute, she researches and maps Historical Ecology for the eco-atlas. Brewster was awarded the 1997-1998 Garden Club of America Rome Prize in Landscape Architecture from the American Academy in Rome.
